Technical Lead - Software Development & System Integration
About the role
The Technical Lead - Software Development & System Integration at Sunquick is responsible for leading software development and system integration projects, designing scalable applications, integrating ERP systems and business applications, and developing REST APIs and web services. The role involves collaborating with global teams, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, with at least 3 years of professional experience in software development and technical leadership, and strong proficiency in both frontend and backend platforms. The position is based in Horana, Sri Lanka and is full-time.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development, with proven expertise in system integration and technical leadership.
- Strong experience in integrating ERP systems, enterprise applications, business applications, databases and third-party platforms.
- Proficiency in modern frontend and backend platforms (e.g. .NET, C#, Node.js, React, etc.).
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, team collaboration and project coordination capabilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Integration Services and Azure Logic Apps.
- Experience with ETL processes, middleware and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
