Technical Lead – Process Automation
About the role
The Technical Lead – Process Automation will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of automation developers, overseeing solution architecture across platforms such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, and AI-powered automation. The role involves defining development standards, driving the automation delivery pipeline, establishing enterprise intelligent automation practices, and collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements. The position also requires evaluating emerging technologies, maintaining technical documentation standards, and ensuring delivery quality and compliance with IT governance. The role is onsite in Colombo, Sri Lanka, within the Information Technology & Business Process Automation industry, and is facilitated by InTalent Asia for their client. Must have
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience delivering automation solutions within enterprise environments.
- UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer certification is mandatory.
- UiPath AI Professional Certification is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud and desktop flows.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Dataverse.
- Proven experience leading automation teams and managing enterprise automation programmes.
- Working knowledge of process excellence methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, source control management, pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong technical documentation skills, including architecture documentation, solution design, and operational manuals.
- Experience developing automation frameworks, reusable components, integrations, APIs, and enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI-first automation, intelligent agents, governance frameworks, and automation best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical leadership while maintaining hands-on involvement in solution delivery.
