About the role
Olanka Travels, a leading destination management company based in Colombo with a global presence, is seeking an AI Expert to drive the integration of Artificial Intelligence across its business operations. The role is hands-on and involves identifying opportunities for AI adoption, building and integrating AI solutions, and delivering measurable business results. Key responsibilities include automating workflows, developing AI agents and virtual assistants, implementing AI in sales, CRM, marketing, HR, finance, and customer service, integrating AI with existing systems, evaluating new AI tools, training teams, and measuring the impact of AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs, experience with platforms like ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini, and a proven ability to build AI agents, automations, and API integrations.
Must have
- Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs
- Experience with tools such as ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms
- Experience building AI agents, automations and API integrations
- Knowledge of platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier or similar
- Understanding of RAG, knowledge bases, prompt engineering and AI workflows
- Ability to understand a business problem and turn it into a working AI solution
- Strong problem-solving and experimentation mindset
Nice to have
- Coding/API experience will be a strong advantage
