Sales Account Manager
About the role
The Sales Account Manager for the Drones Division in Colombo will be responsible for building and managing strong client relationships across both government and private sector entities to expand UAV business opportunities. The role involves engaging in pre-sales activities, coordinating with technical teams for project delivery, identifying new market segments, generating leads, and maintaining sales pipelines. The candidate will also represent the company at industry events and ensure timely payment collection while fostering long-term partnerships. The position is with Sumathi IT and focuses on promoting UAV solutions.
Must have
- A Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Account Management / Business Development (experience in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Geospatial, or Technical Solution Sales will be a strong advantage
- Ability to understand technical concepts and convert them into practical customer value propositions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong coordination and multi-tasking ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- A proactive, result-oriented personality with a passion for emerging technology solutions.

Highlights
Salary is listed as 150,000 to 180,000 LKR plus incentives and is negotiable. The role is based in Colombo. Experience in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Geospatial or Technical Solution Sales is considered a strong advantage.
