Full Stack Engineer
About the role
Bridge BSS is seeking a Full Stack Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join their technology team in Sri Lanka on a contract basis. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, building responsive frontends with React, developing backend services with Node.js, and integrating AI features using Python and Generative AI/LLM APIs. The developer will also work with databases, REST APIs, and AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, while participating in architecture discussions and ensuring secure, maintainable code. Bridge BSS is a global technology company focused on software development, AI-driven solutions, and IT staff augmentation, offering opportunities to work on innovative SaaS and AI-enabled products.
Must have
- 3+ years of hands-on full stack development experience
- Strong experience with Node.js for backend development
- Strong experience with React and modern frontend development
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Experience integrating and working with Generative AI / LLM APIs
- Hands-on experience using Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs
- Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or similar
- Experience with authentication, authorization and secure application development
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and cloud deployment environments
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with product and engineering teams
