DevOps Engineer
About the role
The Lead DevOps Engineer will oversee the operational management, security, governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of cloud platforms supporting Ting, Wine World, and the Incentive App Platform. The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, scalability, and resilience of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments, implementing DevSecOps best practices, release governance controls, monitoring frameworks, disaster recovery readiness, and cost optimization initiatives. The position involves close collaboration with application development teams, external service providers, business stakeholders, and infrastructure partners to ensure operational excellence across cloud-hosted platforms.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience managing production Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes-based platforms (AKS and/or GKE).
- Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Experience managing cloud cost optimization initiatives.
