QA Intern
About the role
The QA Intern position focuses on manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications in Colombo. The role offers hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, including preparing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and maintaining test documentation. Interns will work closely with developers and QA team members, gaining exposure to real-world software development projects and receiving mentorship from experienced professionals. Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing principles and test case preparation.
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman would be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, or programming languages is beneficial.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
