Senior Software Engineer- Java/Angular
About the role
The Senior Software Engineer - Java/Angular will be responsible for developing new features and modernizing existing HRIS products, including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and CoreHR. This role involves working as a full-stack engineer on a multi-tenant cloud SaaS solution in the human resources domain, collaborating within a distributed agile team. The position requires strong experience with Java and Spring for backend development and Angular for frontend development, as well as a shift-left approach to testing and solution verification. The use of AI tools to enhance productivity is also expected.
Must have
- Good understanding of Java and Spring (backend) and Angular (frontend) with 6+ years of exp.
- Engineers will be expected to adopt a shift-left development approach, taking ownership of testing and verifying the correctness of the solutions they develop.
- They will also be expected to leverage AI tools (Github Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to enhance productivity.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with at least one RDBMS and SQL language is a bonus (Oracle & PL/SQL preferred), but is not a requirement.
