Manager - Cyber Defense & Digital Forensics
About the role
The Manager - Cyber Defense & Digital Forensics will lead bank-wide cyber defense operations, threat analysis, proactive threat hunting, and threat intelligence activities in line with the annual Information Security Plan. The role involves identifying and assessing emerging cyber threats, overseeing preventive, detective, and corrective controls, and coordinating remediation with stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading digital forensic investigations and cyber incident response, providing security advice for system design and technology deployments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal security requirements, supporting audits and risk assessments, enhancing cyber defense and forensic capabilities, and managing the cyber defense team. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree, professional certifications, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in cyber defense within a financial services environment.
Must have
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related discipline; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in threat hunting, cyber defense operations, digital forensics, malware analysis, or incident response within a banking or financial services environment.
- Possess relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CHFI, GCFA / GCFE, GCIH, CompTIA, CySA+, PenTest+
- Demonstrate strong technical and managerial competencies in cyber defense capabilities, forensic readiness, and threat detection mechanisms to strengthen the Bank’s resilience against evolving cyber threats.
