Senior DevOps Engineer
About the role
This role is for experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineers to join Voigue's team, with two vacancies available: one specializing in Microsoft Azure and the other in AWS. The positions involve building and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments, focusing on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, monitoring, and production operations. Successful candidates will work directly with international clients, leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and reliability. Must have
- 4–5+ years of relevant commercial experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS and production cloud environments.
- Experience with AWS IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and AWS networking.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and high availability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
- Experience with incident management, production troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimisation and operational best practices.
- Practical experience using generative AI tools for infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, log analysis, scripting, and operational documentation.
- Ability to critically validate AI-generated infrastructure configurations and recommendations before using them in production.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud networking, identity, security, and application services.
- Practical knowledge of Azure Front Door, Web Application Firewall (WAF), App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, or similar observability tools.
- Understanding of cloud security, reliability, scalability, and cost optimisation.
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and preparing post-incident analyses.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted tools for troubleshooting, log analysis, infrastructure configuration, scripting, and documentation.
- Awareness of AI-related risks when handling production data, secrets, security-sensitive information, and infrastructure changes.
