Senior Support & Implementation Engineer
About the role
The Senior Support & Implementation Engineer will handle critical production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions. The role involves coordinating with development, QA, infrastructure, and product teams, reviewing and validating SQL scripts, monitoring issue trends, mentoring junior engineers, and participating in deployment and production support. Additional responsibilities include leading project implementations, coordinating end-to-end activities, conducting requirement clarifications, ensuring successful migrations, providing user training, identifying risks, and managing multiple implementations to ensure timely delivery. Candidates should have a BSc in an IT-related field and 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Must have
- Strong SQL Server scripting and query-writing skills
- Knowledge of Stored Procedures, Joins, Functions, Views and Triggers
- Experience in data correction and database troubleshooting
- Experience with ticketing and issue management systems
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Basic understanding of application deployment and support processes
- B Sc in IT related field
- 4 – 5 years of relevant experience
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows server environment is an added advantage
