Mathematics Specialist
About the role
SME Careers, a subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, is seeking mathematicians to join their AI training project. The role involves reviewing AI-generated mathematical responses, evaluating the quality of reasoning and problem-solving, and providing expert feedback to improve model accuracy and clarity. Responsibilities include assessing solutions for correctness, identifying errors, fact-checking quantitative information, writing high-quality mathematical explanations, and rating AI responses based on mathematical reasoning. The position is ideal for those with advanced mathematics backgrounds who can communicate complex concepts clearly and contribute to AI model development.
Must have
- You hold a MS or PhD in Math/Stats or a related field in one of the top 100 universities.
- Confident in pure and applied mathematics, proofs, modeling, statistics/probability, and optimization.
- Expert at fact-checking information using public sources across multiple domains.
- You communicate mathematics clearly and turn advanced theory into real-world solutions.
- English proficiency C1 and above with excellent writing skills.
- For PhD holderss: you have developed or critically reviewed complex math content (e.g., problem banks, proofs, textbook sections, research notes).
Nice to have
- Background in research, analytical writing, debate, programming, or mathematics is preferred.
- Bonus: Data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation experience.
