Software Engineer Intern
About the role
RapidM3 is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a paid, six-month, full-time internship based in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Interns will assist in developing and maintaining web-based software applications, working with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, React, MySQL, and REST APIs. The role involves backend and frontend development, API integration, bug fixing, code reviews, and collaboration with the development team. Candidates should be currently studying or recently graduated in a relevant field, possess a basic understanding of programming fundamentals, and be familiar with Java, JavaScript or Python, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Git. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to work on real-world projects in a supportive environment.
Must have
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and OOP concepts.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Python.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Nice to have
- Academic or personal software development projects are an advantage.
