About the role
Perituza, an IT consulting company based in Houston, Texas, is seeking an IT Business Analyst IV to support technology initiatives through requirements gathering, data analysis, testing, and process optimization. The role involves facilitating requirements sessions, documenting and validating requirements, performing SQL queries, supporting QA and UAT processes, and contributing to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement. Candidates should have strong experience with Agile frameworks, data validation, QA methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Must have
- Proven experience with Agile delivery frameworks and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to write queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis across relational databases
- Working knowledge of data validation and database testing principles
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, test planning, and automation tools
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI-based tools for documentation, analysis, and test optimization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively with US-based clients
- High level of integrity, tact, and diplomacy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ownership mentality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or a similar role

Highlights
This is a hybrid role based at One Galle Face, requiring onsite presence one day per week initially, increasing to two days per week after office construction. Working hours are 8-5 Monday to Friday, with flexibility for nighttime meetings with US clients (up to 11:30 PM SLST).
