Computer Hardware Technician & Sales Person
About the role
The Computer Hardware Technician & Sales Person role involves assembling, upgrading, and maintaining desktop computers and laptops, as well as diagnosing and repairing hardware issues. The position also includes installing and configuring operating systems, drivers, and software, selling computers and related products, providing technical advice, and handling customer inquiries and after-sales support. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of computer hardware and repairs, good communication and sales skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in computer hardware repair or sales is considered an advantage.
Must have
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Knowledge of desktop computer and laptop repairing.
- Ability to assemble, upgrade, and maintain computers and laptops.
- Knowledge of operating system installation, drivers, and software configuration.
- Good understanding of computer components and accessories.
- Good communication, customer service, and sales skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in computer hardware repair, laptop repair, or sales is an advantage.
