About the role

Codrizon is seeking Intern Software Engineers for a full-time remote internship focused on the MERN stack. Interns will work on back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming, collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality code and scalable web applications. Responsibilities include designing and implementing web applications, writing maintainable code, testing, debugging, participating in code reviews, and contributing to documentation. Candidates should have a strong foundation in computer science, proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and knowledge of the MERN stack. The role is suitable for those currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Must have

Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and practices
Proficiency in back-end web development and software development
Experience with programming and OOP concepts
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with a team
Familiarity with Git and GitHub
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have

Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
Previous internship or project experience in full stack development.
Knowledge of server-side languages/frameworks like Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, etc.
Experience with database management and SQL.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcased on platforms like GitHub.
