About the role

The Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) role is a contract position based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with a hybrid work arrangement. The position involves designing and developing enterprise-grade software solutions, building scalable and distributed applications, and ensuring maintainability and performance. The engineer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to technical design and architecture. The role also requires working within Agile Scrum environments, supporting CI/CD and DevOps practices, and developing cloud-native solutions on AWS and GCP. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in enterprise application development, strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, React, Redux, and experience with cloud platforms and DevOps.

Must have

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 4+ years of experience developing production-grade enterprise applications.
Strong expertise in:Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture
Enterprise Integration Patterns
Strong frontend development experience with:React,Redux
Strong understanding of:,Relational Databases,Database Schema Design,SQL Optimization
Experience working with cloud platforms such as:AWS,Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Hands-on experience with:EC2,ECS,Lambda, Fargate,Step Functions,Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug complex distributed systems.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
