Solution Manager – Enterprise ICT Business
About the role
The Solution Manager – Enterprise ICT Business will support solution development and business growth in the Commercial Market segment, focusing on ICT Infrastructure such as Storage, Compute, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure, and AI Infrastructure. The role also involves supporting Data Communication and Optical Communication solutions as needed. The position requires working closely with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, channel partners, and internal teams, and extends beyond traditional presales activities. Candidates should have strong technical fundamentals, an open mindset, and a willingness to learn across multiple technology domains. The role is based in Colombo 01 and is offered as a one-year renewable contract.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the ICT domain, preferably in enterprise infrastructure, solution development, presales, or technical consulting
- Strong understanding of Storage, Compute, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure, and/or AI Infrastructure.
- Strong technical learning ability and willingness to expand across different ICT domains.
- Open-minded, adaptable, and collaborative. Good communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work across different teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive in driving customer, partner, and business success.
Nice to have
- Experience or knowledge in Data Communication and Optical Communication will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or enterprise customers is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with sales, account management, business development, technical teams, and partners.
