About the role
The IT Assistant - Surveillance Operations at Singer Finance is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the reliable operation of CCTV, NVR, panic alarm, and related security systems across all locations. Key duties include configuring, inspecting, and troubleshooting cameras, NVRs, alarm systems, and network equipment, as well as ensuring continuous CCTV recording and secure storage of surveillance footage. The role involves coordinating installation, repair, upgrades, and preventive maintenance, conducting regular system testing, providing first-level technical support, and maintaining equipment inventories and documentation. The position also requires compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, and providing CCTV footage for authorized requests.
Must have
- Ideal candidate should be between 22 and 30 years of age.
- Successfully completed GCE Advanced Level (A/L) or an equivalent qualification.
- Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CCTV, IP camera, NVR/DVR, and alarm systems.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV surveillance systems, IP cameras, NVRs, and video management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to travel to branch locations when required.
