About the role

The Cloud Platform & Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud platforms and production systems. The role involves developing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuring monitoring and alerting, and supporting system upgrades and performance optimization. The engineer will also be involved in incident management, root cause analysis, and collaborating with technology teams to enhance operational efficiency. This position is ideal for early-career professionals with experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, particularly those with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.

Must have

1–3 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Application Support, Systems Maintenance or SRE.
1–2 years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including ARM templates, Azure CLI, Terraform or similar.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Azure Application Insights, PerfMon or Redgate.
Scripting experience with PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, SQL or similar.
Strong SQL/T-SQL skills and an understanding of database performance troubleshooting.
Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with incident management tools such as PagerDuty and Jira.
Basic understanding of containers and web technologies, including Azure Functions, web services and AKS.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
