Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation
About the role
Gallagher is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation with 3-5 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts, executing various types of testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Candidates should have proficiency in Selenium, automated testing frameworks, and a solid understanding of performance and load testing, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, and CI/CD practices. The position also requires strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, as well as a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience with AxelQ or similar platforms and exposure to OutSystems are considered advantageous.
Must have
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium, automated testing frameworks, test case design, and defect management.
- Understanding of performance and load testing, test automation framework design, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, SDLC, API testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software.
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with AxelQ or similar low-code/codeless automation platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to OutSystems is an added advantage.
