Technical Officer - CCTV
About the role
The Technical Officer - CCTV Service role involves attending to breakdowns, routine servicing, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and commissioning various CCTV systems, estimating and supervising sites for wiring and infrastructure, maintaining company-provided standby stock, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting of technical activities. Candidates should have hands-on knowledge of CCTV installation, maintenance, and programming, and be willing to travel and participate in 24-hour duty or standby arrangements. The position is with Metropolitan Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and is available in multiple locations across Sri Lanka.
Must have
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CCTV surveillance installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of CCTV installation, maintenance, and programming, including NVR/DVR and various types of CCTV cameras.
- Good communication, presentation, and documentation handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours when required.
- Ability to participate in 24-hour duty/standby arrangements.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of data networking, including switching, LAN, and TCP/IP protocols, will be an added advantage.
