About the role
The Assistant Manager / Executive (IT) – Application Developments role at Cargills Bank involves engaging with business leaders and product owners to gather requirements, creating technical diagrams for system architecture and data flows, and participating in sprint planning and retrospectives. The position also requires incorporating security best practices, conducting code reviews, and providing technical support to users. Candidates should have a degree in IT or a related field, 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, and technical expertise in either .NET/WSO2 or Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate. Must have
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in IT, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the Banking or Financial sector
- Technical expertise in one of the following languages: Expert-level proficiency in .NET, and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, with strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET Core enterprise applications OR Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA for developing scalable enterprise applications
- Proven expertise in system architecture and Web API development (REST & SOAP), supported by strong knowledge of RDBMS platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
- Technically proficient, governance-oriented, and familiar with Risk, Audit, and Compliance functions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
