About the role
The IT Assistant (Outsourced) role involves providing day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues within a leading banking company in Colombo. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, assisting with user account management, supporting LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, handling software installations and updates, maintaining IT inventory, and ensuring compliance with IT security policies. Candidates should have a diploma or higher diploma in IT or a related field, 1-2 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and practical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Must have
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and practical knowledge may also apply.
