Network & Security Team Lead
About the role
The Network & Security Team Lead will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Network & Security Engineers, managing team performance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality network and security services. The role involves overseeing service delivery, monitoring incident management, and driving adherence to ITIL-based processes. The Team Lead will provide technical leadership, handle escalations for complex issues, and support enterprise networking environments. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing operational updates are also key aspects of the position. The role is based in Moratuwa with a hybrid working arrangement and standard weekday hours.
Must have
- 5+ years of experience in Network & Security Engineering.
- 2+ years in a Team Lead, Senior Engineer, or Technical Lead capacity.
- Experience working within Managed Services, NOC, SOC, or enterprise support environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles.
- Strong experience with enterprise networking technologies including: Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs), Firewalls and Security Policies, SD-WAN Technologies, Wireless Networking, Network Monitoring Tools.
- Experience with one or more of: Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Aruba.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and management platforms.

- Relevant network or security certifications will be highly advantageous.
